Dermal fillers are injections used to fill out wrinkles and creases in the skin. They can also be used to increase the volume and definition of the lips and cheeks. The fillers are made from a variety of materials and the effects can be either temporary or semi-permanent, depending on the type of filler. Most fillers used for facial sculpting contain hyaluronic acid. Please have a look at some of the treatments we offer.
Cheek Augmentation Treatment
Cheek augmentation or enhancement is sometimes also referred to as a non-surgical mid face lift. Cheek augmentation works by improving the definition of the cheeks through the use of non-permanent dermal fillers, such as Juvederm VOLUMA or 4. These hyaluronic acids are specially formulated for reshaping and contouring the face. Prominent, full cheeks give us a healthy, youthful appearance and improving the definition of the skin over your cheek bones through cheek augmentation can significantly rejuvenate your face.
The lip augmentation procedure is a form of fine art, and at Smart Aesthetic we use our great experience and artistic feeling to give you natural tailor made lips. The modern lip should be subtle, natural and sensual. Bringing photos of the lips you desire to your appointment is very welcome, and we banking on our expertise and enhanced techniques will strive to fulfil all your wishes.
Marionette lines Treatment
Fillers are non-surgical, injectable treatments that offer the ability to instantly smooth lines and wrinkles. In the case of marionette lines, a hyaluronic acid-based filler such as Juvederm can be used to restore lost volume for a plump and youthful appearance. Marionette lines are creases or folds that run vertically from the corners of the mouth down to the chin. Ironically, marionette lines are not caused by years of laughing. The lines are a common result of the natural aging process that includes a combination of depleting fat (and other facial tissue underneath the skin) with a loss of skin elasticity.
Smoker's Line Treatment
Smokers' lines are commonly known as the 'barcode', a series of thin vertical lines that run perpendicular to the lip border. Smokers' lines can be successfully treated by Botox injections, filling these lines with a dermal filler and/or enhancing the vermilion border. Often a combination of these techniques is employed.
Nasolabial Folds Treatment
Nasolabial folds are the smile or laughter lines that form between the corner of the nose and the angle of the mouth. The folds separate the cheeks from the upper lip and generally become more pronounced as a person ages. Dermal fillers can be used to successfully revolumise areas that have lost volume making the face look younger and fresher.
Hand Rejuvenation Treatment
The best way to guess a person’s age is to look at their hands, not at their face. Ageing signs on the hands typically include wrinkling, sun spots, thinning skin, loss of volume and guttering, enlarged veins and a bony appearance. Fillers refresh the hand by plumping up the skin and adding volume to the back of the hands. The results achieved are absolutely stunning and long lasting.
Non-Surgical Nose Job
While traditional rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that involves incisions and a lengthy healing process, non-surgical rhinoplasty is a non-invasive procedure that produces immediate results. Fillers are injected into the nose to alter shape and produce an even, symmetrical appearance. Dips or bumps in the bridge of the nose can be corrected through the use of fillers to create a smoother look. The treatment is also effective in correcting a drooping tip, flat nose bridge, or uneven nose structure.
Tear Trough Treatment
The area between your lower eyelid and upper cheek is known as your tear trough. As you get older, this changes in appearance; it becomes longer, deeper and more shadowed. By filling this area with a dermal filler the appearance of the dark circles and hollows can be dramatically reduced making the eyes look brighter and rejuvenated.
Jaw & Chin Augmentation
Jaw and Chin Augmentation fillers can enhance the contours, shape and balance of the face by increasing the projection or length of the chin and strengthening the jawline. Quick, straightforward and relatively painless, fillers will create a subtle difference which is immediately perceivable but difficult to pinpoint, making slight modifications towards that ideal face shape and more youthful appearance. Using various techniques fillers can masculinise or feminise the jaw as required.
